OPOWER - Software Engineer

2010 - Present

As an engineer at OPOWER I help write software that allows consumers to save money and reduce their carbon footprint by providing them with the information they need to curb their energy usage. I spend most of my time writing code using Java, Ruby, and Scala.

Platinum Solutions, Inc. - Senior Engineer

2006 - 2010

Served as a senior engineer for Platinum Solutions specializing in the analysis, design, development, and integration of a web-based system used by a large government health organization to regulate drug applications. My responsibilities on this project included: client support, system design, and custom Java development.

FGM, Inc. - Software Engineer

2004 - 2006

At FGM I helped develop and maintain a sophisticated web-based Java application to deliver vital logistics information to users positioned around the world. I was heavily involved in all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, integration, and deployment.

Workforce Improvement Network - Technical Assistant

2003 - 2004

As a Technical Assistant for the Workforce Improvement Network I was responsible for rapidly developing custom PHP/MySQL applications to meet a variety of user needs. This work included developing a custom Content Management System (CMS) and various marketing websites.
